Intro Designer for iOS

Intro Designer is a universal iOS application developed for the iPad, iPad mini, iPhone, and iPod Touch. Intro Designer is available in the iOS App Store for only $2.99.

Intro Designer is an application that will allow you create video intros on your iOS device that can be exported to your camera roll and then opened in another application like iMovie or Pinnacle Studio so that you can add an intro to a video that you might be editing for upload to a service like YouTube or Vimeo. Most of the templates that are offered are quite generic and you cannot create you own template but you can add your own personal text and messages to your intro video. You could also use Intro Designer to create an "outro" for you video with your website domain or asking your viewers to subscribe to your YouTube channel, etc.

Intro Designer offers 13 different categories to choose from. In each of these categories you will have different themes to choose from to download to your iPad. Some of the themes might be in more than one category though. All of the themes are different lengths in time, some are 10 seconds long others might be as long as 30 seconds. Each category has a different number of themes to choose from, one category may only have 2 themes while another may have up to 6. The categories are as follows.

Categories

  • Celebrate
  • Family
  • Simple
  • Sports
  • Abstract
  • Music
  • Love
  • Birthday
  • Holiday
  • Nature
  • Cinematic
  • Shows
  • Travel

Be aware that downloading these themes to your iOS will use up your storage space on your device. Then remember when you export your footage to your camera roll you will now have this video in 2 places on your device using twice the storage. If you import that footage into another application that same footage will then be in 3 spots on your device using 3x the storage. If you do not have a lot of storage space you can delete your footage from the Intro Designer application after you have exported to help save storage space!
Intro Designer is a really fun application and if you do not own any motion creating software on your computer and you want to add some professionalism to your videos then check out Intro Designer.

Cooler Master MasterCase 5 Pro

The MasterCase 5 Pro is a Free Form modular system that allows you to easily upgrade any hardware component inside your PC case. What Cooler Master defines as Free Form;

“Free Form enables you to vertically adjust or entirely remove drive cages via an intuitive clip-and-click panel, opening unparalleled flexibility to integrate replacement accessories like fans, water cooling reservoirs or even extra-long graphics cards.”
When choosing a case I wanted something that not only looked great but was also a beast in terms of being able to add more hardware to it as I built my gaming PC. Basically I wanted to future proof it in terms of having enough room on the inside for dual video cards, multiple hard-drives, water cooling options for when I overclock my machine, and something that was easy to manage. The MasterCase 5 Pro was that case! Look at the design of it, the black on it is sort of a matte black which gives it an even more bad ass look to it. The thing looks like the frigging Batmo…

FIVE must have accessories you should purchase with your Phantom 4

Extra battery - I’d recommend two extra batteries but they are expensive so at the minimum at least get one extra battery. The battery last about 25+ minutes or so, depending on what you are doing with your Phantom 4. If you are in Sports mode, flying fast, then the battery will drain quicker or at least it seems that way to me! I currently have three batteries and I am seriously thinking about adding a fourth to my arsenal.Bigger capacity MicroSD card - The Phantom 4 comes with a 16GB memory card which is just not enough storage capacity to be useful for most video shoots, especially if shooting in 4K. I’d opt for at least 64GB. Make sure it is 4K Ultra HD ready, faster write speeds are a bonus too! Currently I have two 64GB cards plus the 16GB card that came with the Phantom 4. I use the 16GB card for still images and the bigger cards for video.Phantom 4 Propellers - If you are new to unmanned ariels / drones then you might not have heard but accidents happen, often. Usually the pro…

ProCraft Cases backpack for Phantom 4

I recently purchased a ProCraft Cases backpack to use with my Phantom 4 and I wanted to give a brief overview of the product; as well as some of my initial opinions. The most important aspect of this bag is that the Phantom 4 does indeed fit, this bag was designed for the Phantom 3 initially. That is one of the biggest problems with the Phantom 4 just launching, sellers are trying to market their products made for the Phantom 3 as being for the Phantom 4. Some things do work well, like ND filters, but other accessories might not work with the Phantom 4 being a bit different in design from the Phantom 3. So as I purchase these items I will probably do short demo videos and write-up reviews on the products as I get them. The outside of the ProCraft Cases backpack is made of a vinyl material that feels very well made. It has 2 straps that allow you to wear this over the shoulders — there is also a handle on top of the bag if you prefer to carry it. There are 6 pockets (including the pouc…
